ALL IN for Health Care Scholarships: An Evening of Fun and Entertainment

Help us raise $20,000 for scholarships to those from Polk County who are pursuing medically related fields of study!

  • Games will include Poker, Craps, Roulette, Blackjack, and some old favorites like Jenga, Uno, and Connect 4 
  • Special Texas Hold 'Em Tournament will go from 6:30p to 8:30p with the winner getting a prize valued at $550!

Attire for the evening is casual.

Your $50 ticket price gets you

  • 2 drink tickets (for select alcoholic beverages)
  • Heavy appetizers
  • Complimentary non-alcoholic beverages

Play packages range in price from $50 to $300 and include between $75 to $500 in scholar dollars for gaming table play.

Proceeds from the event will go to the Salem Health - West Valley Foundation to provide scholarships to Polk County community members pursuing medically related disciplines.  Among the mission and goals of the Salem Health - West Valley Hospital Foundation are to make sure those who live, work, and visit the mid-Willamette River Valley have the health care they need via the Salem Health - West Valley Hospital.

Some Scholarship Fast Facts:

  • Since it started in 2007, the Salem Health - West Valley Foundation has awarded over $293,000 to individuals pursuing professions in medically related fields.
  • Over 260 students have been able to benefit from the foundation in the form of scholarships since its inception.
  • In the 2023-2024 award year, donor support empowered the foundation to award $25,000 in scholarships to students.

Other programs supported by donors to the Salem Health - West Valley Hospital Foundation include:

  • The Connections Van helps Polk County residents, who may have transportation barriers, get to and from medical appointments.
  • Financial assistance for patients in crisis who are undergoing treatment at Salem Health - West Valley Hospital or the local Salem Health Clinics.
