Please join us for the first annual West Valley Golf Classic!

We are excited to be hosting the inaugural West Valley Open golf tournament.  All funds raised will go to the Salem Health West Valley Foundation for the sole purpose of giving out scholarships to those from the community pursing medically related disciples.

Among the mission and goals of the West Valley Hospital Foundation are to make sure the residents who live, work, and visit the western mid-Willamette River Valley have the health care their need via the West Valley Hospital.  

Having well-trained medical staff at West Valley Hospital benefits everyone in our communities. Medical professionals with the most current expertise provide better local, high quality health care.

Some Scholarship Fast Facts:

• Since it started in 2007, the West Valley Foundation has awarded over $250,000 to individuals pursuing professions in medically related fields.
• Nearly 250 students have been able to benefit from the foundation in the form of scholarships since its inception.
• In the 2021-2023 award year, donor support empowered the foundation to award $11,750 in scholarships to students.

Other programs supported by donors to the West Valley Hospital Foundation include

• The Connections Van which takes residents of Polk county to any medical appoint they need
• Assistance to those Polk county residents who may be under care directly at West Valley Hospital or any of the Salem Health clinics in the area
